ASHE – Dark Brown Full-Grain Leather with Samburu, Influenced Bead Colours

Crafted in dark brown full-grain leather, this Ashe has a rich, structured character that celebrates the natural grain and individual markings of the hide.

With use, the leather is intended to soften and develop a patina particular to its wearer.

The shoulder strap is entirely hand-beaded in a palette influenced by Samburu bead Colours , bringing a more vivid expression of colour against the depth of the dark brown leather.

The beadwork becomes the visual counterpoint to the simplicity of the body colour against earth, intricacy against a strong leather form.

The construction features zipped compartments at both the front and back, while the central mouth opening is secured by a round
solid-brass snap closure.

The exposed brass adds a warm metallic accent and will naturally acquire character with handling over time.

Inside, the piece is finished with printed African cotton fabric, introducing another layer of pattern and texture.

Ashe means “thank you” in Maasai.
