Across the front, four Akire beetles are rendered by hand in green beads, two placed on either side of the denim.
Against the familiar blue ground, the singular use of green allows the form of the beetle to remain clear and recognisable.
At the back pocket, the motif takes a different direction. The beetle is deconstructed, with its head and lower body deliberately separated.
